Filming Schedule and Objectives

Shoot 1 – 18.3.2013

For the first initial shoot my main aims were to get some footage of the first room of the studio where most of the default designs were displayed, including display cabinets for earrings that were available for piercings. The footage I wanted to obtain included:-
  • ·      Shots of some of the default designs on display
  • ·      Shots of the studios interior
  • ·      Shots of some of the ornaments that were on display
  • ·      Shots of the counter and seating area where the customers first walk in

During this shoot I managed to achieve all of these shots, as there was enough space for me to move around and get up close to the designs and display cabinets

Shoot 2 – 29.3.2013

On this date I intended to film the process of someone getting there tattoo however the person who I was told would be comfortable with the camera backed out and said they wouldn’t feel comfortable so I had to change my plans to film the process another time, however I was able to get some shots of the interior of the studio where the tattoos were being done. The shots I obtained on this shoot included:-
  • ·      Shots of some unfinished designs
  • ·      Shots of the chairs where the tattoos are done
  • ·      Shots of the interior of the studio
  • ·      Shots of some of the paints and equipment used for the process
    Shoot 3 – 4.4.2013

This shoot was the day when I would film the process of a tattoo being done and the customer was comfortable with the idea of the camera being around so I would be able to film them having their tattoo inked on this day. I intended to get shots that included:-
  • ·      Shots of my client preparing the equipment for the process
  • ·      Shots of the tattoo being drawn
  • ·      Shots of the process as it went along
  • ·      Shots of the finished product

I think that during this shoot I feel I managed to obtain all of the shots I had set out to acquire as the process went on for at least 2 hours which gave me enough time to observe the process and get footage from many different angles
